Day 1

Arrival in Shimla – Mashobra

A perfect romantic escape begins… just you, your partner, and the magic of the Himalayas

Route: Chandigarh - Kalka - Shimla (heritage toy train) - Mashobra

Begin your romantic journey with an early start from Chandigarh, driving together through quiet, misty roads to Kalka. From here, board the heritage toy train to Shimla — a slow, charming ride where you can settle by the window, and watch the scenery shift into pine forests, old tunnels, and pretty hillside stations.

On reaching Shimla, take an easy stroll along The Ridge and step inside the soft, yellow glow of Christ Church. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at a cosy colonial café before you continue towards Mashobra. Check into your boutique villa or heritage resort in Mashobra, where wooden interiors, fireplace corners, and peaceful mountain views set a warm tone for the day.

  • As evening settles, return to your resort for a private candlelit dinner under the stars (optional), overlooking wide Himalayan views. Soft music, warm lights, thoughtful dishes.

  • End the night with a relaxed stargazing session.

Day 2

A Romantic Himalayan Adventure

Wake up before sunrise and head out together for a quiet drive toward Hatu Peak. From the base, you’ll walk about 3.5 km through still, cedar-filled forests as the darkness slowly opens into gentle morning light. At the 3,400 m summit, settle down with a warm blanket, hot tea or coffee, and a small sunrise breakfast. The view of snow-covered ranges glowing in gold feels even more beautiful because you’re sharing it side by side.

Afterward, stop at the small Hatu Mata Temple, offer a prayer thread for good luck, and enjoy a few peaceful moments in the mountain silence.

Once you descend, you’ll visit the apple orchards of Chharabra or Bishri. Wander through the trees, pick fresh apples with a local farmer’s guidance, and taste them together right there in the orchard. The farmer will happily click some photos for you, and you’ll leave with a complimentary basket of crisp, sweet apples to enjoy later at the hotel.

Around midday, you may choose to join a private pottery workshop in Theog. Sit together at the wheel, shape a small mug or bowl, and enjoy the simple, playful feel of working with clay. Your finished piece will be glazed and couriered home — a little memory you’ll always have.

Optional Visit:
If you’d like extra relaxation, drive to Tattapani for a soothing dip in the natural hot-sulphur springs by the Sutlej River. The warm 30–40°C water eases any fatigue from the morning trek, and the calm riverside setting gives you both a quiet space to unwind.

As evening settles in, return to Mashobra during your stay and experience a traditional Himachali Dham dinner. On request, enjoy simple yet flavourful dishes like Rajma Madra and Meethe Chawal, listen to family stories, and share a warm, homely meal.

Highlights:-

  • Sunrise trek to Hatu Peak photographer.

  • Relaxed apple-picking in fragrant orchards + your own basket to take home.

  • Traditional Dham dinner - food, stories, and so much warmth.

  • Simple, delicious lunch at a scenic dhaba (Himachali thali, fluffy Siddu with ghee).

  • Grand Himachali Dham dinner.

Little Shopping:-

Day 3

Mashobra - Bijli Mahadev - Kullu - Old Manali

A perfect romantic day filled with adventure, culture, and cozy moments just for the two of you

Route:  Mashobra - Sunder Nagar Lake (quick couple selfies) - Pandoh Dam (drive-by with mountain kisses) - Bijli Mahadev - Kullu → Old Manali

Wake up to a gentle morning in Mashobra and enjoy an unhurried breakfast at the resort. Once ready, settle into the car and let the peaceful Himalayan views guide your way toward the Kullu Valley. On the way, we’ll stop at Sunder Nagar Lake for a few sweet photos together, and pause again at Pandoh Dam to admire the vast waters and the quiet beauty around it.

The main experience of the day begins with a 3 km uphill walk to Bijli Mahadev Temple. It’s a lovely trail — calm forests, cool breeze, and wide-open views. Take your time, walk together at your own pace, and enjoy the silence of the hills. At the hilltop, the ancient temple greets you with a sweeping 360° view of the Kullu and Parvati valleys. This is a wonderful place to sit together, click a few cherished photos, listen to the temple stories, and enjoy your packed lunch overlooking the mountains.

After returning from the trek, we drive to Kullu for a warm cultural experience — a private shawl weaving session with local artisans. You can sit together, learn how traditional pit looms work, try weaving a few lines, and enjoy masala chai with the family. You may pick a shawl or two as souvenirs, and you’ll also receive a small handwoven bookmark and a participation certificate to remember the experience.

Later, stop at Drifters’ Café for an easy early-evening break. Share a wood-fired pizza, sip something refreshing, and enjoy a little dessert together before continuing the journey to Old Manali. Once in Old Manali, take a slow walk around the lanes, visit cafés, explore small shops, or simply enjoy the sound of the river nearby. At the 50-ft waterfall, spend some time near the pool, soak your feet, sit together in the calm, and enjoy a few quiet moments just for yourselves.

Return to Old Manali for a relaxed post-trek brunch, then explore the old lanes on a guided heritage walk. You’ll pass traditional kath-kuni houses, hear old stories of the valley, and visit the sacred Manu Temple, where you can pause for a simple prayer or light a small diya together.

After lunch, visit the Tibetan Monastery — spin a prayer wheel, admire the artwork, and join a short guided meditation session with a monk for a peaceful shared experience. siddu with ghee, red rice paranthas, or a warm cup of kahwa.

After breakfast, check out and start your drive down from Old Manali. The Beas River will accompany you for most of the journey. As you exit the 3 km Aut Tunnel, take a short break at the beautiful Pandoh Dam reservoir—it's a lovely spot for one last picture together.
