Itinerary (Day Wise)

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive from Haridwar or Dehradun to Sari village, the base point of the trek. On Day 2, embark on a short and beautiful 3 km trek to the serene Deoriatal Lake, known for its crystal-clear waters and Himalayan reflections. The next day, trek through lush forests and meadows to reach Chopta, often called the Mini Switzerland of India. Day 4 takes you on a spiritual and adventurous ascent to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple, followed by a final push to the Chandrashila summit for breathtaking 360° Himalayan views, before trekking back to Chopta. Conclude your journey with a memorable drive back, filled with unforgettable mountain experiences.

Day 1

Drive Haridwar/ Dehradun -Sari (08 hours approx.)

Pick up from Haridwar/Dehradun drive to Sari via Rishikesh, Devprayag (a sacred place where the emergence of sacred river Ganga takes place after the confluence of river Alaknanda & Bhagirathi), Rudraprayag (Confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini River). Overnight stay in the Tent at Sari.

Day 2

Sari - Deoriatal (Trek 03 kms/02 hr approx.)

After breakfast start trek to Deoriatal covered in 02 hrs approx. Arrive and camp near the lake & explore the exhilaration site of Deoriatal Lake, where beauty reaches its pinnacle when the reflection of glittering snow-capped peaks of Chaukhamba and Neelkanth showcase its glory on serene water of the lake. Indulge yourself in salubrious surrounding & nature bounties.

Day 3

Deoriatal - Chopta (Trek 14 km/6 hrs approx.)

Rise up early morning amidst of sound of chirping birds & enjoy an enticing sunrise. After breakfast starts the trek to Chopta. This trek includes some moderate & steep trails which pass through the densely wooded forest of Rhododendron, oak and pine trees. There are possibilities of sighting few rarest Himalayan birds as Monal. The charm of this amazing unexplored place will keep on re-energizing you. Arrive Chopta & camp here for overnight stay.

Day 4

Chopta-Tungnath (Trek 03 Kms/02 hrs approx) & Tungnath - Chandrashilla (01 Kms/01 hrs) & trek back to Chopta (09 Kms trek approx.)

After breakfast trek towards Tungnath which is the highest altitude Lord Shiva shrine. Get the lucid view of some gigantic peaks as Trishul, Bandarpoonch, Kedarnath and other prominent peaks. The Shrine encircled by the amazing forests. Further, continue strenuous trek to Chandrashila which will take 01 hrs to reach there. At Chandrashila summit unravel the captivating view of the snow-covered peaks. Later trek back to Chopta campsite and overnight stay.

Day 5

Chopta Departure (Drive 7 hours)

After breakfast drive to Haridwar/ Dehradun.
